We offer both virtual and in-person appointments depending on your needs. The virtual option is very useful for patients living outside Medellín for initial consultations and follow-ups.
How many sessions do I need?
It depends on your specific condition. Some conditions improve in 2-4 sessions, while complex injuries may require 8-12 sessions. Dr. Madrid will provide an estimate during the first consultation.
Do treatments require surgery?
No, we perform medical treatments using stem cells, exosomes, peptides, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), hyaluronic acid, and functional and conventional medicine. We use advanced physiotherapy techniques such as shock waves and hyperbaric medicine.

Do you accept medical insurance?
We only accept Sura policies and Coomeva prepaid medicine.
How much does the consultation cost?
The private consultation cost is COP $253,000 (around $67 USD) and includes a free follow-up visit within the month.

What does the private consultation include?
Interview, physical examination, review of tests (ultrasounds, X-rays, MRIs, etc.), diagnosis, treatment plan, and a free follow-up appointment within the month.
Does the knee swell after treatment?
Treatments cause a controlled inflammatory response, which stimulates tissue repair. Therefore, during the first few days, you may experience: mild to moderate swelling, local heat, discomfort or pressure sensation, and pain when moving the joint. This usually lasts between 2 and 5 days, although in some people it can extend up to a week.

No, it is recommended to resume exercise 7 to 30 days later, depending on the diagnosis and progress.
Can I have both knees injected on the same day?
Yes, but it causes significant disability. It is recommended to inject one knee and then the other the following week.
Do I have to pay for the entire treatment at once?
No, the patient can pay per session performed.
What does the policy cover?
The policy covers medical fees. The patient must pay the copayment corresponding to their plan, as well as the medications or biological products used in the procedure.
Payment methods?
We accept all payment methods. Using a card terminal has an additional cost of 3.2%, and Epayco link payments have a 6.25% fee on the total payment value.
Cost of treatments?
The cost depends on the patient's diagnosis and the treatment used. On the day of the evaluation consultation, the doctor guides the patient on the most indicated treatment for their case, and a quote is sent based on this.

Should I go accompanied to the consultation?
Yes, especially if you are a minor, an older adult, or have a medical condition that warrants accompaniment.
Can I use my cell phone during the consultation?
Cell phone use is not allowed during the medical consultation. This measure aims to ensure adequate service provision, preserve information confidentiality, and maintain an optimal care environment. Additionally, it is a strategy to reduce fomites considered sources of contamination.
